Hark! What's this? Ancient scrolls detailing the history of the ancient empire of Nintendium? Fascinating.

It says here that the Nintendium empire colonized the land, and ruled all for miles, until it came into conflict with colonists that would become the nation of Segaria. Nintendium ruled with an iron fist, and although the people prospered, many nobles fled the harsh rule for Segaria, where they turned their able minds and bodies to the aid of their new country.

And so occured the Genesis of Segaria, it's golden age. The Nintendium Empire was caught off guard to say the least, and it took them a great deal of time to respond. Many peasants left for Segaria's rich pastures and exotic wares.

When The Nintendium Empire finally responded, it took their war machine a great deal of time to strike back effectively. They formed the Elite War machine which would become known as Super Nintendium.

A mighty battle was waged, and many different clans rose to prominence. But ultimately the mighty power of the Super Nintendium was too much for Segaria, and although not defeated, was severely weakened. Despite their best efforts, their secret projects ended in overall failure, with the mighty Segarian SeeDee's unable to stem the tide, and with black program 32X becoming a collasal waste of resources.

Meanwhile, after being Double Crossed by Nintendium, the refugees of which would become Sonia assembled. Their rise not only took land from Nintendium, but also from the recovering Segaria.

Nintendium responded with it's secret project, the Nintendium 64, a mighty army of the 64 nations of the Nintendium Empire. It had impressive power, and might, but lacked in size compared to the larger but weaker armies fielded by Sonia, which eventually Zerged Nintendium.

What?! The end of this text is comprised of damned lies! My grandfather would tell me great stories of how the 64 had an even fielding with Sonia's first machine. In addition, our great land survived the attack due to the quality of the forces used in that project.

Many apologises. You must bear with me, the Ancient texts are rather difficult to translate. Many strange characters and figures. It took me months to figure out that the Large M was both a leader, and a religion, the head of a pantheon of gods, focused on ancient hero worship. I'll be finished with the next batch of scrolls soon.

In any case, it apears that the texts are dual meaning. Sonia ended up coming out very strong from their expansion, and almsot totally crippling Segaria. The Nintendians fought for 4 years of hard battle before the next phase of the war broke out. It's rather unclear, but it appears the Nintendium Empire fought to a near standstill, but ultimately lacked the heavy RPG weapons and Storage size to crush the Sonia uprising. Sonia utilized a new weapon called Ceegeai, the predecossor to the weapons that would follow.

The next series of scrolls are marked /IV/ Sic Semper Tyrannis. pt.1

It appears that Segaria was aware of the dangers presented to it. It's last great wonder, the Segarian Saturus, was a mighty machine, but technologically a dead end. The innovative nobles, aspiring for greater riches, wandered abroad, seeking a more profitable and stable life in the shrunken but mighty Nintendium Empire, and the wonderous world of Sonia.

The Saturus, while producing many cultural gems, was lost, and left it's followers to mourn the loss of some of their cultures greatest works.

Meanwhile Nintendium, enjoying theinstability of it's Ancient nemesis Segaria, was enjoying a Gold Age of sorts. A time when the Pantheon was strong, with figures such as Bond the Goldeneyed, The Link of Times, and Mario of the Steel fist. Many lessor gods were introduced in this time, such as Joanna of the Dark, Donkey Kongas, among others. This relative peace would be shattered however in the coming years.

Breatheren I must apologise for these records, for they are scattered, and in some cases conflicting. I'll do my best to transcribe them to you, but I will occasionally make mistakes. If you have knowledge of ancient Folklore and Legends that can be of aid, please share them.

Sic Semper Tyrannis pt.2

Segaria was weak, and knew that while Nintendium enjoyed it's "relative" stalemate with Sonia, it would be crushed and consumed by the 2 empires if it did not find a new weapons with which to fight back. Nintendium was fielding large armies of Gamboyz to cover it's weaknesses abroad, and Sonaria continued to grow in size. Segaria turned to a wonder weapon. One which would solidify it's position in the world as a mighty power once more. It became known as...the Dreamcast. All the hopes of Segaria rested on this elite project.

Nintendium, as usual, reacted slowly to the news of Segaria's secret project. Meanwhile in Sonia, a frantic scramble occured to plan a defense against the resurgent war machine. if they could not hold the land taken from Segaria, it would spell disaster for them. They began work on the Pstatius duos.

The Dreamcast project finally was released, and with much fanfare from the heartened Segarians, began a great push to reclaim their lands before Sonia and Nintendium could launch a counter attack. High powered 2nd generation Ceegeeai weapons, and standardized Mo-dem support helped them in their initial push.

Sadly for Segaria, the aging forces of the Nintendium 64, and the hushed wisperes of the Pstatius Duos super weapon slowed their advanced.

And so began a new era, of the Pstatius Duos.

As a former Segarian historian, I admire your attention to detail.

The Dreamcast was our mightiest creation, outclassing all other consoles at the time of its release. Despite all of this, we knew that this would be our final stand. We had heard the rumors of Pstatius Duos. We also knew that the Nintendium empire had heard of it as well, and was working on their own project. Our resources had dwindled down to almost nothing, having poured all of it into the creation and powering of our Dreamcast. We decided that if we were going to go down, we were going down with a bang.

Now, Segaria is nothing more than a mercenary nation, on the same level as Namconia and Capcomistan, selling our services to the highest bidder. After the fall of Segaria, I moved to Weegard (formerly Nintendium), where I continue to work as a historian, as well as assisting the king in procuring services from Segaria and her former allies.

I heard the people of the Segaria disbanded into groups of mercenaries, aiding both Sonia and Nintendium

Sic Semper Tyrannis pt.3

The Psatius Duos was truly a weapon to behold. Although slow to bring it's arms to bear, the mighty war machine brought forth great fear and discord to Segaria and Nintendium. Hushed rumors of the might of it's weapons, of it's Nucleic missiles, made many join Sonia to gain it's favor and avoid being crushed.

In truth, according to my interpretation of the texts the Psatius Duos was in some ways a bluff. It was neither operating at full strength, nor would it do half of which it was said it could. But Segaria and Nintendium had no way of knowing this at the time. Truth being told that The Dreamcast project was capable of engaging the Psatius Duos in combat, but was sabotaged by traitors.

As history repeats itselt, Nintendium was yet again thrown into panic. While it's Gamboyz were buffering the kingdom, they would not last for long on the border lands. They consulted with the Pantheon, and Miyomotus, and sought the council of The Dolphin. Being a wise creature, they reasoned, he would help them start a new weapon, the Mighty Gam-lus Cube.

However, the winds of War quickly brought change, and in the fires of a burning Segaria, a weakened Nintendium, and the yet to fully mobilize Sonia, a warlord from the distant, exotic, and powerful but waning land of Personia Computar brought forth the Xbawks.

Seeing the ripe soil of Consolia, he plotted to overthrow them all with a colony of his own, bring forth the rich fruits of Consolia to his foreign Empire.

These tales of old still bring back memories. I remember when I was a young lad and enrolled in the militia of Nintendium. My leader none other than Luigi, the eldest of the Mario family twins. He was lower in ranks compared to his younger twin, Mario, but he was still a good leader. He would train us every day and tell us to never leave our dreams. I myself had a wife and two children back on Nintendium and I didn't plan on letting them down. The wars with the Segarians were tough, but we always held strong. Strange enough as it is to say though, I never saw our leader, Luigi, out on the battlefield, but I did see Mario on his battle steed, Yoshi, whenever we weren't getting attacked.

Oh how I miss those days...

It is in my opinion that HALO be brought to light, as it brought forth ideas that Personia Computar had long followed.

It is an interesting idea, and it's third incarnation has brought many followers. As a once traveler to Sonia, I am unsure where to travel to next...

My personal Oracle only complains about expense, so I am afraid I have little to choose otherwise.

Other historical concepts of note:

The Fantasy of Infinite Finales, never final, though always claimed as such. It's origins lie in the Ancient Nintendium Empire, but it is now scattered, with past incarnations returning in the continent of Handheldis.

Also, do not discount the tragic tale of the Big Boss, in both the Nintendium Empire (THE TRUCK HAVE STARTED TO MOVE) and Sonia.

Perhaps you may yet know further than I have dug up within my library.

I applaud you /v/ historians for archiving this. It is important that future generations are aware of their place in time, so that they may appreciate and learn from the past. However, it seems nary a soul has bothered to recount the tales of the mercenary nations of Namconia, Capcomistan, and Konamis. Each held sway in how the battles between the major nations played out.

Indeed. Konamius brought forth many great heroes, among them the famous Pyra-mid Head. Capcomistan had the likes of a brilliant robotics specialist, Dr. Light I think. He had a rivalry with another inventor, Dr. Wily, and their competition brought about a Golden Age of Robotic Warriors, led by Light's Megaman series, and later his Zero series. Namconia had many great adventures at her beck and call, such as the Tales Corps.

Editors Note: Sic Semper Tyrannis translates roughly to "Such is Tyranny."
The scrolls delve off into slightly biased accounts as the information becomes more modern, with several different powers each trying to present their version of events. In the nature of Historical accuracy I have done my best to streamline events, and follow the general flow of the wars which followed. It is up to the conclusion of the reader to decide what biases he wishes to insert.

A mighty invasion fleet was formed by Bill Garth, the ruler who controlled most of the Gates into Personia Computar. He scowered the lands far and wide for nobles willing to support his cause. In what has become one of the greatest betrayals , and an integral part of Applite history, Personia Computar enveloped Bungicus Studius. Bungie Studiar was hard at work on a commission from King Jobs who, as apart of his plan to rebuild his kingdom, ordered them to construct a Halo that would gather the Applites far and wide to the Macite' faith. However their betrayal crushed the Applites, and many swore off fellow nobles who had been friends with Bungicus Studius, and apart of the great effort of King Jobs.

Bungicus Studius began working tirelessly to turn Halo into the Superweapon of the Xbawks invasion. It's mighty use of then unheard of Laan technology and Hardroves was work on a scale then unheard of.

Nintendium was completely unprepared for the strength of the Xbawks invasion. Expecting a weak start from the foreign land, it did little to consolidate the defenses of the Gam-Lus Cube, and instead began focusing on reincarnating the pantheon to fight for this generation with new powers. Indeed, Link the GreenCap became Keeper of Winds, Mario of the Iron fist became a glowing god of Sun and Water, and the Ancient Huntress Samus sought fresh prey. It looked like the Nintendiums might push back the Xbawks and their Halo, but they managed to survive.

All this time however the Psatius Duos war machine grew in strength, and Nobles flocked to it, seeking protection and riches. IT's power grew relatively unopposed, with peasants finding life easier, and not as terrifying as the uncertain future of the Xbawks armada.

In truth, the only nation which suffered was the dwindling kingdom of Nintendium, for despite it's best efforts of the Pantheon, and many cultural achievements, it's ancient and archaic culture was unable to grow. The Halo gathered followers of all kinds to it, and the Xbawks consumed much of the land of Nintendium. In this time many noble houses betrayed Nintendium, including Capcomicus. The only thing which stopped Nintendium's outright destruction, were the Advanced Gamboyz legions, the Nintendium Loyalists, and the Pantheon.

Sonia was unconcerned, for any refugees would much rather join Sonia rather than the Xbawks devils which had destroyed their land.
Indeed, in this time the Psatius Duos was unchallenged in almost all areas, with culture gems such as The Collosus Shadow of Ico, and Devil may Katamari. Even war gods gave their assistance. The Noble house of Square was at it's highest, with the most advanced CeeGeeai and RPG weapons, and legions of followers in the Cult of Square.

Aside from the gamecuba bit, everything else seems pretty essential to the world.

I hear the recently merged Squeenixus league posses most of The Fantasy of Infinite Finales scrolls. There are rumors that they intend to completely control the RPG weapons market with them and play the major nations against each other. Except the foreigners of Xbawk. They hate them.

But Xbawks and Bill Garth had a trick up it's sleeve. The Xbawks Live network. Through use of the Laan and Hardrove, and information from ancient Segaria, the Xbawks had managed to create weapons that had never before seen on such scale. Weapons which channelled the raw might of the Inturneht Sea. In tandem with this weapon was the construction of a second Halo. Despite a somewhat shoddy construction, it's might brought forth the wrath of the Inturneht sea down on Sonia, who had previously only had minor forays into it's dangerous waters.

This new super weapon made a huge impact on Sonia and the Nintendium remnants, with several claiming dual citizenship on the borders, the latest phase of the war died down. Somehow Nintendium had survived this latest phase, but greately damaged. There was much that would need to be done if their future was to be secure. As the Inturneht Settled, and it's strategic value was made apparent, both sides began work to harness it's raw might, in their new super weapons.

Well my bretheren, I am exhausted by my research. I can only hope that I've walked down the correct path, and have translated the scrolls correctly.

There is a final batch, but I do't know if I have the strength to continue. If I cannot, then remember this "While some will seek to corrupt our history, we must remember. Always Remember. Never Forget."

I suppose after the last scroll I should write a treatise on the rise of the Nintendium Empire, and it's essential role in laying the foundation of modern society.

These apt words describe the roots of our modern times. Revenge.

Revenge for Empires destroyed. Revenge for cultures vanished. Revenge for battles lost.

Xbawks and Bill Garth, overjoyed by the success of the initial invasion, began a radical undertaking to bring forth a second wave. This machine would beat Sonia's forces to battle, and gain it a foot hold against whatever Sonia had in store. Xbawks brought forth the best Nobles from Personia Computar, and commisioned Bungicus Studius to make a 3rd Halo, that would trump all. They were given several years to do this, but the risk was destruction if they failed.

Sonia, it's feathers ruffled by the Xbawks, returned to it's long secret project, the Psaticus Trius. With power on the cellular level, this project of mad science would assure them the victory they sought. Sadly they didn't realise that their harsh taxation and treatment of the peasants would incite many to do the unthinkable and join the Xbawks invaders and other to return to the ancestral lands of Nintendium.

The Nintendium Empire, in the face of the escalating Xbawks and Sonia war, underwent a revolution. The Gamboyz leagions were retired, and replaced with modern Deesses supplemented by Veteran Gamboyz. In the violent revolution, the ruling nobility was largely killed or exhiled, and new radical theories took hold. Theoris on the power of motion, and creating a world for the peasantry.

So rose the Nation of Weegard.
