I am a senior engineer involved with IT and this exam question forced me to put down the wrong answer. If the rest of the exam has partially similar questions, then there is something wrong with the school. That is because all exams should not just be vetted by the instructor, but also by the department staff in order to have courses sufficient to show accredation.

If the school was in trouble for passing too many unqualified students, perhaps this is their half-assed way to get their statistics under control or force students to fail and pay to take the course again. There's a lot of schools out there with hastily created programs created not so much as to turn out well-educated IT students, but to take advantage of the large number of people retraining due to the economic downturn resulting from the permanent contraction of the employment market.
