The disturbing part of this campaign is how americanzied, liberal arts undergrads are trying to be the universal arbiters of what is and what is not an acceptable depiction of "their" culture.

Who anointed them the judges of acceptable cultural depictions? What about the people in their cultures who conform fairly closely to the stereotypes to which they are objecting, do they not count? Are they an embarrassment?
