Pokemon Special is a pokemon manga (obviously). It's a hell of a lot more badass than the show, and instead of the main cast of Ash, Misty and Brock, it's Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Gold, Silver, etc. You get the jist of it.

Anyway, you should check it out. It's good stuff.

Also I'm extremely angry that you don't know what Pokemon Special is, but I think I hid that well.

It'd be nice to see the manga animated, but there are so many continuity issues with the anime that I don't know if they'll ever plan on doing it.
