Spectral Slider.

The story of Tohya Akiha who is the titular Spectral Slider, a ghost who slides himself into the lives of other people to set things right so that he can one day earn his wings to ascend into heaven. My favorite arc is for when he makes his former girlfriend happy with the man he knew she was cheating on him with.

Ghostsliders! Man, I loved this show. I can barely remember anything about it, but I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid.

The only characters I can remember, other than the Ghostslider, are Jamal, the black guy, and Alex, who wasn't black.

It kind of sucks that they never told us what or who the Ghostslider was. I really liked the plot device, though--a ghost who can only see writing, brilliant.

Hey, if you google "ghost slide" the first image results you get are Masamune's early character designs. Amazing how different they all look while still being recognisable as the same characters we know and love. Screengrabbed because the site hosting the images doesn't seem to be working.
